Custom WooCommerce single product page can make your site look really amazing and different from the competition. However, customization of a WooCommerce single page depends on your WordPress theme. But you can still customize your single product page.
In this tutorial, I am going to tell you about all the possible options how you can customize your single product page very easily.
1. Edit Theme
The first method we are going to talk about via editing your single product page with the help of a theme. If you are looking for a WooCommerce theme this guide will help you.
I am using OceanWP as my theme and it provides options to customize your single product page. To customize the page go to Appearance>Customize From there you can customize your theme.
Now select WooCommerce>Single Product Page to customize your single product page. From there you can customize the overall layout of your product page. A lot of options are available, choose whatever you want to edit.
2. Use Plugin
By editing the theme you can edit the overall layout off the page but what if you want to show some extra content or message on your page? For that, you need to use a plugin.
In this tutorial, we will use Woocommerce Single Product Page Customizer plugin. The use of this plugin is a little trickier than normal but once you start editing it you will understand how to take full advantage of it.
Installation of the plugin is the same just go to plugins install and activate. If you are new to WordPress you can follow this guide to install a plugin.
Now after installing the plugin go to the WooCommerce section you will see a new option to customize a single product page click on it.
Now pay close attention to the image which is shown there, in that image you see the Single Product Page Position Guide Map in that map you will see a number highlighted with red background and position written on it. Those positions are the location where whatever content you add will be added.
For example, we will edit number 3 which will add the content before the product title as shown in the image. Let’s add “A super amazing product collection” there. To do that simply type the text and click on update.
Now your content will be visible on every single product page. As you can see in the image above my written text is visible there.
With this plugin, you can add images, links, and almost everything you can use in a normal post.
With these two methods, you can do most kinds of editing on your WooCommerce single product page. But there are still some limits to what you can do and to surpass that you need the third option.
The third method is to edit the code manually, but this editing requires knowledge of programming languages such as PHP/HTML/CSS and you need a skilled person for that cause one wrong change might bring your whole website down. So if you really need that level of customization higher someone skilled who can do this task for you.
